Service brakes, hydraulic: Foundation components: Hoses, lines/piping, and fittings04/05/202424V253000

Forest River Bus, LLC. (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2018-2024 Starcraft Allstar, Senator II, 2022-2024 Starcraft Allstar MVP, Senator II MVP, Eldorado National Advantage, 2018 Starcraft Candidate II, 2023 Starcraft Starlite, 2023-2034 Champion Challenger, Elkhart Coach ELKC, and 2019-2024 Glaval Universal transit buses. Unsecured brake lines may be damaged by contact with the frame rail.

Consequence

Damaged brake lines can cause loss of brake pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and secure the brake lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 1, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Bus Customer Service Phone Number at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River Bus number for this recall is 05-1756.

Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 Elkhart Coach ELKC transit buses. The brake lines may not be attached to the driver's side frame rail. Unsecured brake line may contact the rail, damaging the lines and causing a loss of brake pressure.

Consequence

A loss of brake pressure increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will secure and repair the rear brake lines, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 1, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service Phone Number 1-800-348-7440. Forest River's number for this recall is 05-1741.
